As much as I love summertime in the big cities, I have discovered that there is nothing like Nashville at night! If you have never had the chance to visit this music city, you ought to put it on your list of places to visit. We were in Nashville for several days, recording and visiting with new friends. David, Angela, Paul, and all the awesome musicians and engineers at County Q Recording - you guys are awesome! Thank you for making our visit so comfortable and inspiring! Everyone in Nashville is so friendly and pleasant ... we did not see even a sign of the road rage or frustration that we see so often in the NE Corridor! I'll go back again very soon, and who knows, maybe someday Charlie Daniels and I will be neighbors!
I hope you all are enjoying the lazy days of summer. We continue to do our best to enjoy our time off as much as we have been enjoying our shows this summer. Trips to the beach, tubing down the lazy river, and cookouts in yard with family all contribute to the sizzling sensations of summer. Thanks to all of you that have come to hang out with us over the summer, it is always great to see you all! We hope you will make it out again before the summer ends!!
And if you are one of our many troops away from home and serving our country ... please know that you are always in our hearts! Always.
We wait anxiously for your safe return home! Stay safe and healthy, and know that each and every one of you are missed, loved, and appreciated! You are my HEROES!!!
Send me your pictures and i'd be honored to post them here!
