The local band, which visited the Middle East last year under a Defense Department program known as Armed Forces Entertainment, is scheduled to travel tomorrow to Puerto Rico and Guantanamo Bay in Cuba. Later in the month the band will head across the Atlantic, visiting such countries as Italy, Spain, Turkey and Jordan.

Along with lead singer Jenny Boyle, 25, of Springfield, band members include Sean Bradley of Herndon, guitarist Josh Burgess of Waterford, bass guitarist Jeff Reed of Baltimore, guitarist Chris Roque of Baltimore and manager Gabe Gawen of Fairfax City.

The group plays popular rock songs -- a mix of Top-40 hits of the past several decades by such musicians as Janis Joplin, Guns N' Roses and Jewel. The group has also performed at "Tuesdays for Troops" at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington.
